What causes me to have side effects while taking seroquel?

Depends how long you have been on this for and whether or not it ever worked. I don't know why you are decreasing the dose if you have problems still. Are you withdrawing from it for a different one if it's not working? They take a few weeks to kick in fully as well and we all react differently so this may not be the right one for you. Don't give in just keep going with others until you find what is good for you. Have you tried Abilify/aripiprazole? It's not at all bad for side effects provided it works for you. Are you saying the med has made you ill and you only started with the voices on them?
