Afraid to do drugs? (MDMA)?

Last year, my first time, I took MDMA with 2 friends. They told me to try it and I was afriad I was going to hallucinate and stuff (I was stupid and knew nothing more then weed). I had one of the best times of my entire life! That summer I got major anxiety problems so I stopped in august. The whole summer I was never once afraid to do it other then the first time I did it. Now I'm really scared to do it again. Its been 10 months since I last took it. Am I scared because of anxiety? Am I scared because I overdosed the last time I took it? I want to have the experience of it again, but I'm just afraid to take it, but I know I'll be fine as soon as I'm past the first experience again.
